Code - surround your code with a single `, as in `code`. Strikethrough - surround the text you want strikethrough with a single ~, as in ~strikethrough~. Italics - surround the text you want in italics with a single _, as in _italics_. Bold - surround the text you want in bold with single *, as in *bold*. Now, don't get too excited and think that Slack markup supports every single option found in traditional markup. One of the keys of this JSON file is full, which contains an HTML version of the post. The response contains a field urlprivatedownload which can be used to download the post as a JSON file. Programatically though, all Slack posts are available through API method. So when I discovered it was possible to add markup support in Slack, you know I jumped on the chance. Im not aware of an integration that converts a Slack post to markdown.
